For years and years I’ve been saying I want to go to Lake Powell. My Husband grew up living his summers there and has always told me what a magical place it was. He has so many memories and stories about his experience at this beautiful piece of heaven.

Never did it cross my mind to go before it’s gone. For years I’ve said “maybe next year” or “let’s plan a trip when when our kids are older.” Seeing this picture today made my heart sink. Our world is forever changing and we can not put things off that one day we will look back and regret not doing. There will always be an excuse or reason why “later” May be a better time to act or do.

Maybe if we went when the kids were little we would have been more stressed and it wouldn’t have looked like we visioned but we would have the experience and memories non the less.

Now look at it…. Definitely not like I visioned. A completely different situation then it was even 4 years ago.

What are you waiting for to act upon? The market doesn’t look like you’d like now? How long have you been saying that? What excuses have you been telling yourself? Are you going to wait and look back and wish you acted sooner? If it’s a priority in your life to do it, buy it, or experience it. Don’t wait for it to look PERFECT in your head. Just make it happen. We have more control over our situations then we give ourselves credit for.

Balancing living and enjoy life and working towards your goals and dreams can be hard! Choosing to stay back while everyone goes is never and easy decisions.

This weekend Aspen and I stayed in town while the rest went south to enjoy the sun and weekend with their cousins. We both had things we needed to do and things we needed to get done…Aligning our actions to help us reach our goals!

She’s 2 weeks out from her Wolrds Cheer Competition in Florida and needed to stay back to practice. While I’ve been so busy with work I knew it would be better if I stayed back to get things done.

Earlier this week we sat down and discussed how we could make it all work and go on the trip and hurry back to get things done BUT we would be doing both with stress, worry, and would be worn out. We knew what we had to do which was stay home but that didn’t make the decision easy. We WANTED to be at the pool. We WANTED to be with everyone and having fun. But we WANT to reach our goals even more. Staying back and doing this together was a choice that we made to help us be the type of people we are wanting to be!! Winners in our own game of life! 💕

Despite the low inventory sales are still up compared to January 2021 and the median single family price went up 28.9% compare to last year! I’ll keep on saying it over and over… Real Estate is the best investment!
