Always celebrating Veterans Day by letting my dad know how much he is appreciated.. When he came home from war him and many others were treated as the enemy and not hero’s. What many do not understand is that these vets still carry the hurt and resentment they faced back then today. They also carry the burden of broken of physical and mental issues as well.. Yet they hold their heads high and still hang their flag in honor of their country. I am proud to be the daughter of a Vietnam Vet who kicked ass as a helicopter crew chief. I love you pops!
