This is a great example of what to do if you have more green waste than your cart can handle! You can use paper yard waste bags or 32-gallon Rubbermaid-type cans for extra pine needles.

If one green cart isn’t enough, you can also request an additional cart. And remember, absolutely no plastic bags! This applies to curbside service and drop-off at our Resource Recovery Facility (RRF).

UPDATE: Per Liberty Utilities, power is estimated to be restored by 11:30am.

Power outage updates:

Per Liberty Utilities, widespread power outage is result of upstream transmission problem from NV Energy. No estimated restoration times have been provided, but LU is in close contact with provider.

LTUSD campuses are closed today. LTCC campus is closed but hopes to resume classes later today.

We will continue to provide updates as we receive information.

Note: Liberty outage map is not working. Outage is impacting over 28,000 customers.
