This is why we encourage homeowners to explore restoration before replacement.
Years of sun, rain, and old stain can make a solid deck look beyond saving. But after a proper sanding, the wood underneath often tells a completely different story.
Not every deck can be saved-but when it can, we’ll always inform our clients when restoration is the smarter investment.

Hidden behind our massive treehouse is what’s called the “Yoke” 🍳— one of the most important components of this entire project.
Its job is to connect the tree to the house while allowing the tree to naturally move with the wind and through the seasonal changes. Without thoughtful engineering here, all that movement can place unnecessary stress on the tree over time (which we’ve been incredibly mindful of during the entire planning/process of this design). Most people will never know it’s even there!

Here’s a little past POV of the amazing web portion of the treehouse project. This was taken before Charlies Webs executed the entire thing. It took him only a few days to finish. Truly unbelievable and truly a master of his craft. Stay tuned for this update on this project! 🙌🏡
