I love how close Tahoe is to the Bay Area. We go sailing in SF Bay all year round and we’re almost always driving the opposite way from the weekend traffic. David Wick drove in the Swiftsure race this year and I hopped on a J-112 on Sunday. St. Francis Yacht Club

I love winter. But I LOVE summer. Give me long days, warm sunshine, glassy water, sandy toes, and absolutely no reason to check the time. There is just something about Tahoe in the summer that makes me want to stay outside until the very last bit of light disappears.

Ski boots have their place, but for now, I’ll take my paddleboard and a beach day. 💙🏔️
