A quick trip back to NYC, the city I called home for 25 years.

I stayed at The Twenty Two, intimate, warm, and somehow removed from the vibrant city just outside its doors.

The building was originally built in 1891 by Margaret Louisa Vanderbilt Shepard as a residence for young women moving to the city for work. There’s something so special about this place. Every detail feels thoughtfully considered, from the design to the service and the attention to the little things.

It felt wonderful to run around the city, revisit some old favorites, and then come home to the beautiful, special place.

A little piece of NYC magic.

A week upstate, and plenty of design inspiration along the way.

What stayed with me most about Wildflower Farms was the way the property feels so connected to its surroundings. The architecture doesn’t compete with the landscape, it frames it.

Natural materials, quiet interiors, expansive windows, and a seamless relationship between indoor and outdoor spaces. Every detail feels intentional, but never overdone.

The kind of place that reminds me that great design isn’t always about adding more. Sometimes, it’s about knowing when to let the setting speak for itself.
