COVID-19 ANNOUNCEMENT TO OUR RESIDENTS & CUSTOMERS
From March 17, 2020 on, we have been carefully monitoring the latest reports from the Centers for Disease Control regarding the developing situation around the Coronavirus (COVID-19). We have taken and will continue to take several precautionary and preventative measures to help ensure the health and safety of our residents, employees, and vendors.
We'd like to remind our residents to follow the guidance from public health authorities. The CDC and World Health Organization both have plenty of up-to-date information. We are implementing the following procedures to try and keep everyone safe as much as possible:
• For your safety and the safety of the community, please avoid close contact with our employees and other residents as much as possible. Remember the minimum distance recommended at this time is six feet.
• Some of the Corsa offices are currently open to the public, with rules in place to limit contact. However, even in our closed offices our staff will continue to be available during regular office hours to answer calls, questions, emails, etc.
• Before any work is performed in your apartment, you will be screened over the phone or by email about any occupant of your household having possible exposure to COVID-19. We cannot enter the unit until the questions have been answered by a lease holder.
• At this time, some of our locations’ maintenance teams are only entering apartments to do high-priority and emergency work orders. In those locations, routine work orders are being postponed until we are convinced it is safe to do them.
• Maintenance employees will be wearing masks and gloves for any work in apartments solely as a precaution.
• Work orders can be called in, emailed, faxed, entered on our website (www.corsamanagement.com), mailed, or dropped off in the rent drop boxes or under the office doors, instead of bringing them into the office.
• Similarly, rent payments can still be made online, or can be placed in drop boxes or under the office doors if closed. Receipts for dropped-off payments can be sent to you by fax or email upon request.
• All common hallways, rental offices, maintenance shops, and laundry rooms will be cleaned as often as possible.
• If anyone in your household tests positive for COVID-19, it is important for you to notify the Rental Manager at your property so that our staff can follow proper protocols. We will not give your name to other residents, but we may need to let everyone know the general location of your apartment.
• Please make sure the Rental Office has current contact information for you. Including: cell phone number, home phone number, email address, and emergency contact information.
• Please follow CDC guidelines on how to recognize the symptoms of COVID-19, and how to prevent getting sick yourself and spreading the virus to others. These guidelines are the only way we as a community can help control the virus.
This is uncharted territory for most of us, and it is not over yet, but most of us have been through trying times before. Please look out for your neighbors, and notify our office of anyone you are concerned about so that we can call and check on them. For yourself and your family, take the necessary precautions and limit your interactions. We will come out stronger in the end.
PLEASE BE ADVISED THE FOLLOWING SCREENING QUESTIONS WILL BE ASKED BEFORE ALLOWING MAINTENANCE INTO AN APARTMENT TO DO A WORK ORDER. IF ANY ANSWER IS YES, WE CANNOT GO INTO THE UNIT.
1. Have you or anyone in your household traveled out of the tri-state area and arrived back here within the past 14 days? If so, where did they travel to or from?
2. Is anyone in your household currently awaiting the results of a COVID-19 test?
3. Has anyone in your household been in close contact with anyone suspected or confirmed infected with COVID 19 within the past 14 days?
4. Does anyone in the household currently have fever, cough, sore throat, sneezing, or shortness of breath?
