The best farmers markets around Sarasota + Venice… and yes, I’ve personally tested them all. 👀

If your ideal weekend involves fresh flowers, local food, iced coffee, and wandering around in the sunshine, these are the markets locals actually go to again and again:

• Sarasota Farmers Market — probably the biggest mix of local produce, food vendors, flowers, and people watching. Worth getting there early.

• Venice Farmers Market — smaller and more laid back, but one of my personal favorites for a slow Saturday morning on Venice Ave.

• Wellen Park Market — great newer option with a mix of vendors, live music, and a really easy “make a morning of it” kind of vibe.

Honestly, these are the kinds of little things people end up loving most after they move here.

There’s a part of Nokomis that almost never comes up in online searches… but locals know it well. 👀
 Walkable to the beach, tucked along Lyons Bay, no HOA, no CDD, and still priced lower than most people expect for this kind of location and lifestyle.

It’s one of those neighborhoods people discover after they’ve already spent months searching everywhere else. And honestly? Most wish they had known about it sooner.

If you’re looking for Old Florida charm, boating access nearby, mature trees, and a little more character than the typical cookie-cutter community… this is one to keep on your radar.
