It’s difficult to tell the difference at times but they are some key differences , the flu tends to make you ill generally with high fevers , muscle soreness or pain all over the body with fatigue and lost of appetite.... the cold tends to be less severe and the reason elders call it a “ head cold” is due to the symptoms being confined to the head, so sneezing, runny nose and cough is common.
