Red flags. 🚩 Let’s talk about them in the world of real estate.

A lot of real estate agents will warn you to be realistic when it comes to shopping around for a home.

This is great advice so that you’re not wasting your time looking at homes that won’t meet your needs, but we also have to pay attention to the flip side: making sure that you’re not settling.

Here are some common red flags to look out for when you’re searching for a home:

🚩 Odd smells
🚩 Having been on the market for a long time
🚩 Foundation cracks

A question that’s being asked more and more nowadays is if new construction is a good way to go.

The answer? It depends!

A new construction home can be a great investment and a way for you to have control over your future home, but it also takes a lot of time, effort, and research.

So, if you’re willing to put in the energy for a custom home, go for it! Make sure you do ample research, though! And work with an experienced agent to help you along in the process!

If we’re being honest here… For Sale By Owner (FSBO) is totally like trying to fold a fitted sheet.

You think you know what you’re doing until you go to do it, and it ends in a crumpled mess no matter how hard you try. 😅

The solution? Hire a real estate agent who is an expert at what they do. 😉
