Hello Dickens Place neighbors! You may have heard that there has been a proposal made to the City of Southaven by a developer that is planning to build a gas station/convenience store on the Northwest corner of Getwell Road & College Road. This literally would be located in the Dickens Place entrance at College Road and directly behind several homes in our neighborhood. If approved, the Southeast corner of Getwell Road & College Road would also be zoned for the same use, which of course means there could potentially be two gas stations at that intersection.

For obvious reasons, the property owners that live near that location, and your HOA Board of Directors (who are also property owners in Dickens Place) are opposed to this plan. There will be a meeting held by the Southaven Planning Commission at City Hall in the Boardroom on Monday, July 31st at 6:00pm. The address is 8710 Northwest Drive. We are asking for any property owners that are also opposed to this planned development to attend this meeting. I will be there to speak about our opposition, but you will not be required to speak unless you'd like to. We do however, want a good number of property owners to be present to help convince the City that this project is a bad idea for our neighborhood and our property values. I am very thankful for another successful year in Real Estate. I can give thanks to all of My Loyal Clients and Friends/Family entrusting in me to represent them with all of their Real Estate needs in MS & TN. Front covered porch with Architectural Roof and Ridge Vents that is only 2 years old. Septic tank is new with sprinklers in the back.
