🏡 SOLD!! SOLD!! SOLD!! 🏡
Some transactions are about selling a house. Others are about the people God places in your path along the way!! 🙌
I will NEVER forget the day Ms. White called me.
Her exact words were, "I was told by some ladies at my mother's church that you were a Christian."
I replied, "Yes ma'am, I am."
She proceeded to tell me, "Well, I would like to meet you and determine that for myself!" 😂
Now, I ain't gonna lie, I was immediately intimidated, but I sure wasn't about to tell her that!! 🫣
From the moment I met Ms. White, I could tell she was a firm lady. A lady of strong principles, unwavering faith, and a whole lot of prayer!!
We concluded our meeting, and she entrusted me with selling her mother's home. But something about our conversation stuck with me.
She didn't just want to SELL her mother's home. She wanted to HONOR it. ❤️
A home her mother had lived in for nearly 40 years. A home filled with memories, love, and a lifetime of stories. And she wanted to make sure it was handled with the respect it deserved.
Folks, you just don't see that kind of sentiment much anymore, and I admired her for it!!
Now, let me tell y'all, this one was NOT for the faint of heart!! 😂
We received an offer almost immediately, and then the buyer just disappeared!!
Got it under contract AGAIN, and 10 days later, that buyer changed their mind!!
Finally, the THIRD time was supposed to be the charm!! Well, a few days before our original closing date, I reached out to the agent, who had seemingly disappeared too!! 🫣
Finally got an old, "I've been busy, let me check" text!!
Needless to say, we ended up delayed another 30 days!!
But through EVERY obstacle, EVERY setback, and EVERY frustrating moment, Ms. White continued to tell me the same thing:
"I TRUSTED YOU ON DAY ONE, AND I'M TRUSTING YOU NOW." 🙌
Folks, you have no idea what those words meant to me!!
With a little bit of hard work, a WHOLE LOT of patience, and even MORE PRAYER...
WE ARE OFFICIALLY CLOSED!! 🏡🔑🙌
Ms. White, THANK YOU!!
Thank you for entrusting me with something that meant so much to your family. Thank you for believing in me when things weren't going according to plan. And most importantly, thank you for praying for me during my own time of need!!
Somewhere along the way, we went from Realtor and client to something much more meaningful, and that is a friendship I will cherish for years to come!!
I've said it before, and I'll say it again...
Real estate may be what I DO, but the PEOPLE are why I LOVE doing it!! ❤️
God has blessed me with some incredible clients this year, and Ms. White is certainly one of them!!
Another home SOLD, another friendship made, and another reminder that GOD IS GOOD!! 🙌
