Sometimes this career brings the most unexpected and meaningful moments. Yeshi Dorjee walked into my open house, and in just a short time, his story left a lasting impression on me.

Born in Bhutan, Yeshi is a world-renowned artist whose work is displayed behind the Dalai Lama, as well as at the Smithsonian. Getting to meet someone whose art carries so much history, culture, and passion was a privilege — and truly inspiring.

I may have helped him find a home, but meeting Yeshi has been a gift to me and I’m grateful for the perspective and inspiration he has shared with me in so many ways. A gentle reminder that is the connections with people that brought me to this career and what makes me truly enjoy what I do.
