Some homes check every box on paperā€¦ but donā€™t feel like the one.

My buyers searched and searched for a home. Their criteria were not difficult, but for some reason, nothing felt right. We walked through house after house. Many beautiful and made sense, and most could have worked, but none of them felt like home.

Then, just like many other days before, we pulled up to another showing, their kids in tow, and we were hopeful. We opened the front door, stepped inside, and instantlyā€¦ we ALL knew.

My buyer looked at his wife and said, ā€œHoney, do we even have to continue walking through the home? Heidi, we love it, make it happen.ā€

That feeling was shared by all and filled the entire house. And when it was time to leave, their 2-year-old son sat himself down on the stairs, smiling as he looked around the foyer. He didnā€™t want to go. Honestly, none of us did.

We called our mortgage broker , created our plan and submitted the offer, negotiated the best terms and conditions, and the rest is history. Welcome home!

I truly believe finding your home is a lot like finding a soulmate or a best friend. You canā€™t force it, rush it, or settle just because something ā€œcouldā€ work. When itā€™s right, you feel it. One door closes, and another opensā€¦ and this time, it opened exactly where it was meant to be. Years ago, my dear friend sold her home and bought a condo. This was just a stop, she had a dream quietly waiting for the right moment. When the time came, she just knew. We listed. We sold. And just like that, she stepped into her next chapter, her dream spot. Itā€™s bittersweet, of course. So many memories tied to this place, so many moments that mattered. Every home sale has its own story and this one was no different. The sellers had this home built years ago and raised their family here, and that pride in ownership truly showed.

When my sellers first reached out, we walked through the home together and discussed how to showcase it. It became clear pretty quickly that figuring out what to do with everything in the home seemed daunting, so we built a plan around that.
