If Central Connecticut is where you want to retire then we have several communities for you to choose from in Southington, Plainville & Terryville. All have nicely landscaped home sites and common areas and a central community building located within Forest Hill that has a pool, horseshoe pit and large room for parties. Cedar Springs is actually two distinct communities of affordable manufactured
homes we call Cedar Springs East and Cedar Springs West. Cedar Springs East is easily found at the end of Aircraft Road (turn off Route 10 by Dunkin Donuts). The Quinnipiac River separates Cedar Springs West, which is located right off West Queen Street (also off of Route 10 to the north of Aircraft Road). Forest Hill is adjacent to the Jensen Corporate Office and on either side of Redstone Street. It is also the hub of the Southington area communities and the location of the central clubhouse and pool. Here, residents from Forest Hill can meet with residents from Oak Grove, Cedar Springs and Three Gardens to enjoy the pool or an activity at the clubhouse. Lakeside is in the Terryville section of the Town of Plymouth CT and easy to find just one-half mile off of Route 6 on Harwinton Ave (turn by the McDonalds). At this intersection is a nice shopping plaza with all the necessities. This smaller sized community of affordable, manufactured homes is set on the banks of Lake Winfield, where you can walk, run, fish and paddle a small boat. Oak Grove, a community of affordable manufactured homes in Plainville, has the distinction of being the first Jensen community. Although it has frontage on Route 10, you enter the community from Shuttlemeadow Road (which is accessible off Route 10 in Plainville or use River Street from Southington). Enjoy the private roads and a peaceful suburban neighborhood of affordable manufactured homes. Three Gardens is located right on Route 10 in Southington CT just south of I-84 and close to everything! As you drive down Queen Street (or the College Highway as it used to be called), look for one of the few landscaped areas and our beautiful Pin Oak trees. Our Central Connecticut communities are for people 55 and over.
