Most people think moving to Texas automatically means saving money.
And in many ways, that’s true.

But what I see often is Buyers get excited when they see what they can buy in Texas vs. where they are coming from — and they over buy. Not because they have to… but because no one showed them what to look for.

The biggest surprises usually aren’t the home price — they’re the other costs:

• property taxes 
• land maintenance on larger lots (especially without AG exemption)
• higher utility costs in larger homes
• insurance differences depending on the area
• toll roads and commuting expenses
• choosing the wrong location within the right city
• buying more house than you actually need

Most of these don’t show up in a listing… but they absolutely impact your long-term financial picture.

The difference between a good move and a smart move comes down to understanding these details before you buy.
