There are always pros and cons in buying real estate. Right now the pros are; it’s more of a buyers market. There is room for negotiation and seller concessions. There are not a lot of buyers so that gives the buyers more power. Cons: interest rates are high. But I can offer you incentives through builders and new loan programs with multiple mortgage companies. We can buy rates down considerably. The pros far out weigh the cons right now. The market is ever so slightly improving. We have a few more houses for sale but we’re still below an even market, way below. We’re still seeing multiple offers over asking price, appraisal waivers, and free leasebacks. It may be a while before we get back to a more even market. We’re at about 1.4 months of inventory and need to be at 6 for an even market.
