He has worked with clients concerning short sales, mortgage lending, and managing large portfolios of properties. Ivey is also a certified member of the National Association of Realtors® (NAR), holds certifications as an Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR), a Seller Representative Specialist (SRS), and is currently acquiring his Certified Full-Service Professional (CFSP) license. On a personal note, Ivey began woodworking when he was 12 years old, wood scrolling and wood crafting with a band saw, and still enjoys it today as a home-based business under The Wood Wizard and Pixie Stop with his high school sweetheart and wife, Jessica. Both he and Jessica are active with two groups associated with their home church at Gateway, Southlake. Ivey also plays the 5-string bass guitar, 6-string acoustic guitar and sings 2nd Tenor/Baritone beginning in his high school and college years and still enjoys singing and playing today. In 2023, he joined the Fort Worth Scottish Pipe and Drum Band playing bass drum and is currently learning the chanter/bagpipes and playing bass guitar and singing with the Rampant Panther Kitchen Band, Traditional-Modern Celtic folk music.
