Ok guys, this family is friends of my family and they are a true blessing. For those who don't know Azzie Beagnyam he and I played football together at ACU. His wonderful family was affected terribly by the hurricane and they have lost everything and their house needs to be repaired! His family was able to evacuate while he stayed and helped as a first responder. He is a firefighter and was on duty when the storm hit. By the time he was able to get to his home the 13" of standing water had been soaking up the walls and insulation. Needless to say his home needs a complete remodel. Another friend of his and myself are trying to put together teams and materials to take down there and begin building back their home. We need all the financial support we can get. Shiloh Boone Lasater and I will be taking a trailer down there probably next week. My goal is to have the funds raised to get all the materials so we can start next week. Please pray and let the Lord speak to you how you could be a blessing to this sweet family.
Hurricane Harvey has brought so much hardship and tradgedy to the people of Houston.
