I’m just waiting for the women who believe in signs, perfect timing, and that the right home has a way of finding you to discover my account…

If that’s you, I’m really glad you’re here.

I’ve realized over the years that I don’t approach real estate the way everyone else does.

I love the numbers. I want to know if the price makes sense. I care about resale value, inspections, flood maps, insurance, and all the practical things that protect you.

But I also think your intuition deserves a seat at the table. It’s the house you can’t stop thinking about maybe because it feels strangely familiar, even though you’ve never been there before.

Or it could be your gut is telling you to walk away, even when everything looks good on paper. Just last week we walked away from an investment property I was madly in love with. After some resistance, extensions in settlement, a troublesome neighbor, and two bad dreams, we terminated. Wisdom and being wishy-washy are NOT the same.

I don’t think buying a home is about choosing between logic and intuition. I think it’s about using both.

Know the facts. Ask the hard questions (of your realtor and yourself). Be smart with your money and pay attention to what your heart is trying to tell you. Home has always been more than math.

And I have a feeling the women who end up here already know exactly what I mean.
