We wanted to remind everyone that it looks like we are going to have a good bit of wind on Friday and Saturday, so we ask that everyone be mindful of what you have outside and bring items that may blow around easily inside, until after the storm. Ian does not look to be a problem for us here in our area but we could still have some gusty winds on Friday and Saturday.

Good afternoon and we hope everyone is having a great Holiday weekend. Just a friendly reminder that just because you see someone move out of an apartment it does not mean we have availability, we have had to say this several times lately, but residents continue to tell family and friends we have availability when we do not. Normally, apartments are taken the moment someone turns in a 30 day notice by someone on our wait-lists, which once again we have had to close due to way too many people wanting to get on them. Please understand It is exhausting trying to keep up with these wait lists as it is and having to explain to upset people that we don't have any availability and we do not know when we will again, is terribly stressful. We truly appreciate and are grateful that you are happy here and want to recommend it to your friends but it is causing some issues and we just need everyone's cooperation at this time.
Sadly, there truly is a massive shortage of rentals in our area and we do not see it changing anytime soon.

Good afternoon residents:
We wanted everyone to know that we just had to close the pool for this evening. David had to treat it due to all the rain, it will be opened back up first thing in the morning as long as the water tests are back inline....

Good evening residents.
I just received a video of a fire in our dog park, one of our residents got it out, please do not smoke in the dog park!.
The mulch is very dry and can easily catch fire, this also goes for any areas on the property that has mulch.

Good Afternoon we just wanted to wish everyone a happy 4th and to remind everyone that fireworks are not permitted on multi family properties due to the high risk of a fire danger. I hope everyone enjoys the cooler weather for a few days and have a happy, healthy 4th.

Egret Crossing’s Office will be closed during the week of Thanksgiving.
If you have a maintenance emergency, please contact 910-448-0308, and Donovan or David will help you with that, they will only be here Monday through Wednesday. We are closed Thursday and Friday. I will be back from my trip on Monday, November 29th.

Good Morning Residents, we have decided that our Christmas Party will be Thursday, December 16th starting at 6PM...

It will be a pot luck dinner we will provide Barbecue and Cole Slaw and Baked Beans, paper products and silverware, and sodas. So think about what goes well with barbecue and get your recipes together.

I can't provide alcohol, but feel free to bring your own... I will provide a Flyer shortly to help everyone remember the date.

Ok for those of you that asked about a dog weekend this coming weekend, the pool is closed but we will unlock it for this upcoming weekend so the dogs can swim November 5-7....

Update on the Fox issue, you all aren't going to believe this but the North Carolina policy from the Wildlife commission is this, it is illegal to trap and remove foxes in the State of North Carolina, so they are telling me we have no recourse other than making sure that there is no food or trash left out. Apparently, there is nothing I can personally do about this situation, it has been stated that they are young and they will stop being so curious as they age and they will just dissapear.

Good Morning,
I have contacted animal control about the fox issue, I just called 911 this morning and they are getting up with the Animal Control officer on duty to get someone over here....
They appear to be harmless and they are young so they are curious, I think they got run off from back behind us where they are doing all of the clearing... I am going to ask them to trap them and move them to a safer place.
