The Great Reno Balloon Race is back September 10–13 at Rancho San Rafael Regional Park, and there’s nothing quite like seeing the Reno sky filled with color at sunrise.

One of the things I love about Northern Nevada is how our community comes together for traditions like the Best in the West Nugget Rib Cook-Off. 🍖🎶

It’s back September 2–7 at Victorian Square in Sparks, with great food, live music, vendors, and plenty of reasons to get out and enjoy the long weekend.

Events like this are part of what makes Reno-Sparks such a fun place to call home, and I hope to see plenty of familiar faces out there.

There’s a lot happening around Reno-Tahoe this weekend, and I love seeing our community come alive with events like these. ☀️

From the Dog Days of Summer Dance Festival at the Pioneer Center, to Con for a Cause at the Reno-Sparks Convention Center, and the Reno Antique Faire downtown on Sunday, there’s something for just about everyone to enjoy.

One of my favorite things about living and working in Northern Nevada is having so many local events, businesses, and experiences right in our own backyard.

Here’s your July 2026 Reno–Sparks housing market update. 🏡

The median sales price was $635,000, while 471 single-family homes sold during the month. Inventory increased slightly from June, but it remained noticeably lower than it was one year ago.
