“Pack the Paddy” is back! 🚓🎁

It has been some years since we last did Pack the Paddy. This year is a modified version of what we have done in the past.

We are jumping on board with an existing event that is being put on for a very deserving family in our community. This family has gone through too much in the past two years, and they need some serious community support to make Christmas happen for their four young kids.

We have decided to start a separate fund to sponsor a Christmas shopping trip for the kids. We are hoping to raise enough money that each of the kids can go shopping to buy presents for Mom, Dad, and each of their siblings. (Any extra money will go to Mom and Dad to help with medical bills.)

Our hope this season is to get a good response from our clients, family and friends, as you all have done in the past for us. If you are interested, you can access the event here for details about the family and their specific needs.

Go get your free teal painted pumpkin from Raley’s in wingfield. The Teal Pumpkin Project is a way for all to get involved during the Halloween season. Trick or treating is especially difficult to enjoy when you have food allergies, so by simply adding non food treats, like stickers, glow sticks, spin tops, as an addition to your normal treat handouts, you are helping those with food allergies to be able to enjoy something not food related.

Thank you isn’t enough, but thank you again to all who helped out with “Pack the Paddy” 2021. We did the delivery last night to the family in need. With everyone’s help we provided some much needed love and support. We are always amazed by the generosity of others, from start to finish we had help from you all. Merry Christmas!

Our “Pack the Paddy” 2021 has been a huge success. So many of you stepped up and hit it out of the park with your generosity. Today we picked up donations from Ashlee’s Toy Closet, see attached pictures, that is all from them! Many have dropped off gift cards to us and many have ordered and shipped presents directly to the family in need. We thank each and every contributor, large and small. There will be plenty to go around!

Pack the Paddy 2021! 🚓🎄🎁 💚❤️💝🙏

Ok our amazing support people!! We are late to the game because of school and LIFE 😵‍💫🤪 BUT! The wonderful Andelin family introduced us to a sweet, sweet Sparks family who was hit by a heartbreaking whirlwind in September.

Mom is working through survival mode trying to figure out how life will move forward for her daughter (14) and son (10), but a friend talked her into trying to keep this Christmas as consistent and merry as it can be. Mom went back to working full-time but will not receive her first full-time paycheck until after Christmas. So we are reaching out to our AMAZING system of AMAZING people. 🥰

We would love to provide wrapped gifts for Mom and her two kids, as well as some opportunities for some extra Christmas joy like ice skating, going out to a nice family dinner, and/or anything else that can make this season extra special for them.

One more special request is to keep eyes and ears out for a good, dog-friendly apartment to rent zoned for Mendive and Reed that she can afford on a single income. She does not want to uproot her kids from their schools and friends, if at all possible. 💙💗

We have a wish list put together for gifts for the kids. Let me know if you would like me to send that to you. But anything that is on your heart to do for this sweet family is WONDERFUL. 💝

Also! An extra thought for this year: If we are able to completely provide for this family and have any extra, we are hoping to bless a few kids in foster care with the extras. This is just an idea we had and we will see if and how it pans out for this year. 💝💝💝

Pumpkins! Gearing up for this coming Saturday, October 23rd, at Andelin Family Farm 10am - pumpkins are gone. We will be set up giving away free teal painted pumpkins and we will have information to hand out about what the Teal Pumpkin Project is all about. Help us spread the word for food allergy awareness!

Okay, the stand is ready to go! From now till the night before Halloween you can come to Raleys in Wingfield Springs to get your FREE teal painted pumpkin. There is also a bunch of good information about the Teal Pumpkin Project, and even some door/window fliers you may grab as well. Be sure to thank Raleys for allowing us year after year to set up there, and Raleys even donated 50 pumpkins for us to paint. Help spread the word for the food allergy community. Thank you.

This is how it all starts, from here till Halloween, we will paint and give away over 500 teal painted pumpkins. We do this to raise awareness and to educate others on food allergies. We would love to see others getting involved and helping spread the word. You can get your free teal painted pumpkin from Raleys in Wingfield Springs starting later today, and we will have 1 Saturday, October 23rd, at Andelin Family Farm. At Raleys we do our best to keep them stocked, at Andelin we will have about 100 to give out. When you put out a teal pumpkin during Halloween, you also have non food treats in addition to the candy you give out to trick or treaters. Thank you to everyone who supports the Teal Pumpkin Project.
