There are generally fewer houses on the market during colder weather, but life goes on. People are still experiencing life events…a growing family, a new job or relocation, the need for downsizing, even just wanting a new home for the holidays. Maybe that’s you. Listing this time of year can really make your home stand out!

2. It Puts You Way Ahead of the game…
Lenders and title companies are anywhere from 40-60 days out on closings. This can mean that by the time your home is listed and made ready for showing you’ll be just in time to meet the increased demand of spring and summer. If you are buying a home to replace yours, it’s also a great time to get all your pre-qualification done. Winter is a great time to get ready!

3. Building Trades May Be More Competitive…
If you are needing repairs to get your home ready to sell or are considering an add-on to a home you’re purchasing, many of our friends in the building trades may offer more competitive pricing and timelines for your project as opposed to spring and summer during their busiest time.
