Kabie Lutina Tate Massey is a business professional, licensed REALTOR®, real estate investor, and community leader with more than 20 years of experience in financial services, real estate, and organizational administration. She currently serves with Keller Williams Realty as a REALTOR®, where she is recognized as “Your SC HOMEgirl,” helping clients navigate the process of buying and selling homes across South Carolina while also building her own real estate investment portfolio.
A **second-generation REALTOR®**, Kabie is the daughter of the late Luther and Lillie S. Tate, respected entrepreneurs and former owners of **L\&L Realty, Inc.** in Gaffney, South Carolina. Carrying forward their legacy of professionalism, integrity, and community service, she continues to honor their example through her work in real estate.
Before transitioning into real estate, Kabie built a successful career in banking with First Citizens Bank, where she served as a Financial Sales and Services Representative and Assistant Supervisor from 2011 to 2021. In this role, she supported clients in reaching their financial goals while providing leadership and oversight to her team. In addition, she has offered more than two decades of administrative support as Administrative Assistant at Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Gaffney, South Carolina, where she manages day-to-day operations and communications.
Kabie is a proud member of the **Spartanburg Board of REALTORS®**, where she actively contributes to the **Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee**, helping to promote fairness, access, and representation in the real estate industry. She is also a proud member of **Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.**, where she continues to live out the principles of service, scholarship, sisterhood, and finer womanhood.
Deeply committed to community service, Kabie has served on the Board of Cherokee County First Steps, an organization dedicated to improving early childhood education, and has volunteered with the Laurens County Soup Kitchen.
A graduate of Limestone University, Kabie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing and Management. She furthered her education at the Palmetto School of Real Estate, equipping her with the skills and knowledge to serve clients in today’s dynamic housing market.
Kabie is the devoted wife of **Rev. Dr. Thomas E. Massey, Jr.**, Senior Pastor of New Zion Baptist Church in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Together, they are the proud parents of two sons, **Thomas E. Massey, III** and **Tate Luther Massey**.
