Please help me wish my mom, aka "Grammy", Joyce Pettit a much deserved retirement from Real Estate! She taught me to treat everyone of my buyers and sellers with the utmost respect and to observe the "golden rule". The past few years has been moonlighting phase in helping me man different model homes as she loves to meet new people. Not sure how many agents she has mentored beside me, but we are all lucky to gain her knowledge of the business and people! She is having the best time with her grands and great grands these days! We love you Mom, Grammy and Joyce Pettit!! Happy Retirement!!

FLASHBACK FRIDAY:
Baseball fans know that yesterday was the MLB Opening Day, but true, local baseball fans know the history of Duncan Park! ⚾️
Duncan Park is one the oldest, still-functioning, wooden grandstand baseball stadiums in the region and United States since its opening in 1926, and was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2016. The largest game crowd was 21,000 viewers at the 1938 American Legion “World Series” game— still the largest crowd to watch a sporting event in Spartanburg.
Over the years, the stadium has been home to players from the American Legion Post 28, various minor-league and textile-league teams, Wofford Terriers Baseball team (1996-2003), and Spartanburg School District 7. It has since undergone renovations in 2013 and 2018, to repair wood damage, install box seats, increase locker room and restroom space, and more.
