As the daughter of an Army veteran and the wife of a law enforcement veteran, I understand the importance of service, sacrifice, and the freedoms our flag represents. Today, I reflect with gratitude on all who have served our country and continue to protect the values we hold dear.

These incredible pets have been with us far too long. Each one has something special to offer — they just need someone to give them a chance. They're still waiting. Still hoping.

🐶 Lulu
Playful, high‑energy, and the queen of fetch. Lulu loves attention and is always ready for fun. If you want a dog who brings the sunshine, she’s your girl.

🐶 Eggroll
A low‑energy puppy with a calm, gentle vibe. Eggroll is the definition of “easy company” and would love a cozy home to grow up in.

🐶 Bongo
Soft‑hearted and shy at first, but so sweet once he warms up. Bongo came in with an ear injury, but he’s healing beautifully and feeling better every day. A gentle soul who just needs someone patient and kind.

🐶 Shooter
Timid at first but loves meeting new people once he feels safe. Knows sit and paw, loves beef treats, and gets the happiest zoomies in the yard. He even met a young child and gave sweet kisses.

🐶 TeeBow
A volunteer favorite. Great on leash, loves fetch, and offers endless tail wags. Enthusiastic, affectionate, and always ready for pets and playtime.

🐶 June
A low‑key girl who prefers a calm home without young kids. She loves water, belly rubs, and walks like a pro. Found as a stray and ready for a fresh start.

Happy National Trails Day! One of the things I love most about living in the Upstate is the Swamp Rabbit Trail. With 28 miles of connected paths, it offers everything from peaceful walks and bike rides to outdoor dining and family picnics. It’s truly one of the best amenities our community has to offer.
