Northern Black Hills, you did it again. And this year you did it BIG.
Because of your donations and your volunteer hours, Realtor For Kids delivered Christmas wishes to 36 families, including 81 kids, plus 28 kiddos at Canyon Hills. That is a whole lot of little hearts feeling seen, safe, and loved.
And here is the part that gets me every time. This was not some giant corporate program. This was neighbors helping neighbors.
You helped us deliver over $30,000 in support.
You wrapped families in comfort with 20 quilts hand crafted by the incredible volunteers from Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church, plus 6 more quilts from Project Warmth.
You warmed kids from the outside in with coats, hats, and mittens donated by Kathy Lower.
Every dollar. Every quilt. Every coat. Every shopping trip. Every hand that helped load, sort, and deliver. That is what made Christmas happen for these kids.
To every agent, business, and community member across the Black Hills who donated or volunteered, thank you. You changed the story for families who needed a little light this season.
If you have ever wondered if your small donation matters, it does.
If you have ever thought, I want to help but I am just one person, good. We need one more person.
If you want to get involved with Realtor For Kids, message us.
You can donate, volunteer, sponsor a family, or help us spread the word. We are already gearing up for next year because the need does not end when the decorations come down.
Northern Black Hills, you proved something powerful.
When our community shows up, kids feel it. ❤️
