A special shoutout to our very own Bud Hannah, who was recognized in Washington, D.C., alongside other REALTOR® leaders from across the state for their commitment to advocacy and RPAC.

We are incredibly proud of Bud and everyone who received recognition. South Dakota’s REALTORS® continue to make a difference, and being honored with the President’s Cup Award is a testament to that dedication.

❤️ REALTORS® Are Good Neighbors ❤️

Today, members of the Mount Rushmore Area Association of REALTORS® rolled up their sleeves and gave back to the community we are proud to call home.

Our volunteers spent the morning at Habitat for Humanity of the Black Hills, organizing, cleaning, and building furniture to support their mission of creating affordable housing opportunities. In the afternoon, another crew volunteered at Artemis House, helping clean windows inside and out to keep their facility welcoming and comfortable for those they serve.

As REALTORS®, our commitment extends beyond helping people buy and sell homes, we are dedicated to strengthening the communities where we live, work, and serve.

A huge thank you to Habitat for Humanity of the Black Hills and Artemis House for the incredible work you do every day. We are grateful for the opportunity to support your missions.

It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of Jim Bultsma, a long-time REALTOR® member, respected appraiser, and dedicated leader within our association and industry.
Jim devoted countless years of service to the Southern Black Hills Board of REALTORS®, and then the Mount Rushmore Area Association of REALTORS®, serving in many important leadership roles including Local Committee Member, Secretary/Treasurer, Vice President, President for two consecutive years, MLS Chairperson, State Director for the South Dakota REALTORS®, Professional Standards Committee Member, and many others throughout his distinguished career.
Jim was a true champion for our industry. He was a pioneer for technology and an advocate for keeping our association progressive, relevant, and prepared for the ever-changing real estate landscape. His leadership, vision, and commitment helped shape the organization and industry we know today.
Beyond his many accomplishments, Jim will be remembered for his dedication, professionalism, and willingness to serve others. I had the great pleasure of knowing and serving alongside Jim for more than 20 years, and his impact on our association and our members will not be forgotten.
Please keep Jim’s family, friends, and colleagues in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
