We did a property check yesterday where the electric service was cut due to a mixup between owner and utility company. The interior temperature was down to 44 degrees. A simple call to the utility company and we were back running. Houses and storage condos will lose heat fast with these cold temperatures in the coming week. Don’t let a leaking water heater leak all winter while you are away from your lake home. An example of a service we offer to storage condo owners is below. This can be for winter months only or all year long. Discounts given for multiple units in the same facility.

Make sure heater is on
Make sure no water is coming in through the plumbing
Ensure ice is not daming in front of doors as well as keeping doors free of any debris
Look for signs of rodents / check traps if provided
If there are vehicles in unit, will stick head inside to make sure rodents aren't making a home
