We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Analyst/Appraiser Trainee to join our valuation team. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals interested in pursuing a career in real estate appraisal. As an Appraiser Trainee, you will work under the direct supervision of a Certified General Appraiser to assist with property inspections, research, and valuation reporting.

• Assist in property inspections and take photographs of commercial properties
• Research and analyze market trends, property data, and comparable sales
• Compile and organize data for appraisal reports
• Draft appraisal reports in compliance with USPAP and company standards

Valbridge | Inland Pacific Northwest has an immediate opening for an Appraisal Analyst in our Spokane Valley office. The Appraisal Analyst position provides an excellent opportunity for experience and potential advancement within the commercial appraisal industry.

Real property analysts are problem solvers, communicators, that leverage an appraiser. The appraisal process requires contact with property owners, buyers, sellers, landlords, tenants, brokers, government officials, attorneys, accountants, and other professionals.

Successful analysts are curious initiative-takers who enjoy solving problems. Accuracy, consistency, and good communication skills are requirements. Candidates with a background or study in real estate are desired. Analysts develop the required knowledge and skills over time through on-the-job training and education.

Applicants must be detail oriented, analytical, and extremely organized. The position requires excellent communication skills, above-average math and writing skills, a professional demeanor, good telephone etiquette, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Strong computer skills are necessary. This position is full-time. The right candidate will be highly motivated to succeed in the Commercial Real Estate Appraisal field.
