Operates trucks and equipment, such as striping machines, forklifts, skid steer, trucks with trailers
Other duties include day time work assisting with sign installation and general labor.

EDUCATION
Education: High school diploma or equivalent

LICENSE
Valid driver’s license

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING ENVIORNMENT
Environment: Field and construction site environment, travel from site to site, work around traffic and heavy construction equipment, on slippery or uneven surfaces.
Physical: Sufficient physical ability to perform heavy lifting, bending, standing, or walking for prolonged periods of time; operating motorized vehicles and equipment.
Vision: See in the normal visual range with or without correction; vision sufficient to read printed documents and to operate equipment; read a tape measure
Equipment Used: Striping machine, spray equipment, air compressor, small hand tools and equipment. Drive 1 ton truck with trailer.

• Loading the truck for scheduled work
• Communicating with other employees to lay out the parking lot
• Must have a steady hand to paint with a spray gun
• Ability to carefully load and unloading striping machines
• Install concrete bumper curbs
• Install parking lot signage - hand dig holes and mix concrete
• Willingness to clean equipment i.e. stencils, sprayers, buckets

Looking to hire a subcontractor to snowplow commercial accounts. Most properties are located in Spokane, Spokane Valley and Airway Heights. You must have your own truck with snowplow blade and insurance. Or snow blower for the sidewalk accounts.

Compensation: Varies Per Location

INSURANCE REQUIRES - certificate of insurance that lists OUR COMPANY as an additional insured. The certificate needs to include COMMERCIAL General Liability, Auto Liability and $1 million limits and include the additional insured coverage form.

Required Certifications / Licenses:
WSDA (Washington State Department of Agriculture) Pesticide Operator License
Driver’s License

Job Duties:
Mix and apply pesticides to roadways, parking lots and driveways prior to paving. Assist with shop duties for parking lot maintenance and shop labor.

POSITION REQUIRES WA STATE PESTICIDE LICENSE

Fill sprayer tanks with water and chemicals according to formulas for application. Ensure equipment is prepared with fuel and tanks are mixed for future days’ work.

Order chemicals requested by senior pesticide applicator.

Clean equipment and maintain equipment or systems to ensure proper functioning.

Performing day-to-day administrative tasks such as documenting each job per WSDA specification sheets.

Start motors and engage machinery, such as sprayer agitators or pumps.

Other duties include assisting with shop operations for parking lot striping, sign installation.

Operate forklift, band saw and general hand tools.

Clean or service machinery to ensure operating efficiency, using water, gasoline, lubricants.
