We asked adult family home operators one question: what would you change about the homes you work in?

Their answers became Care By Design, our newest build in Spokane Valley.

"Halls are too tight." → 5-foot hallways and 36-inch doors
"Getting residents out in an emergency is hard." → Three step-free exits
"Bathrooms are the hardest room in the house." → Curbless showers with fold-down seats and full grab bars
"Everyone wants a different temperature." → A mini-split in every bedroom
"Staff need their own space." → Two staff rooms and locked medication storage

6 bedrooms, 3 baths, 2,805 sq ft, all on one level.

One of our favorite things about this Fairview Avenue home is where it sits: in Riverton, just blocks from the Centennial Trail, with a peaceful view of the treed hillside out back. No HOA either, which our client appreciated.

That wraps our South Hill Encore project, a lot our client split off from a flip they rehabbed themselves, cleared and leveled by our team, and built into a 3 bed / 2.5 bath duplex with low-maintenance finishes throughout.

This project is a great example of what repeat business looks like. Our client bought a rehab property, brought it back to life, and sold it, but not before splitting off a second lot with room for a duplex. When it came time to build, they trusted us with the project again.
