Update!! The family of 5 arrived in Spokane on Tuesday the 24th and closed on their new home on the 25th ! The family was in tears at the generosity of the Spokane community! We delivered and set up, a large reclining couch set in awesome condition, A sturdy wood table with six chairs and two leaves, brand new plates and glasses and dishware, cooking utensils, appliances. 4 dressers, 4 beds with bedding, towels etc! They had everything they needed to stay in the home the first night they arrived! I did not take any photos. It was such a whirlwind and so much work, but let me tell you how grateful this family was and they text me every day about how much they love their new home and how they cannot believe that the community was so generous to support them without even having met them. Thank you to everybody that donated to make this family feel welcome to Spokane. You all are Amazing.❤️

PLEASE HELP! I have a military family of 5 that has been relocated from Italy to Fairchild. They will arrive with only their suitcases. The rest of their belongings will take 2 to 3 months to get here. They close on their new house on the 24th of March! I am trying to collect clean home furnishings that they can then donate after their belongings arrive. The are in need of clean mattresses, living room furniture and a dining room table. Glassware and kitchenware would be amazing if anyone has anything to donate that is clean and from a non-smoking home I will be happy to come and pick it up and store it until they arrive.
