However, an injury prompted me to explore a career in acting, which eventually led me to working in the hospitality industry, where I specialized in craft cocktails and fine cuisine. My most memorable moment was bartending at Bill Gates' retirement party. Through working in restaurants, hotels, and bars, I realized the benefits of home ownership over renting. I eventually decided to move to Eastern Washington, to be closer to family, and I was able to purchase my first home in Spokane Valley with the help of a local Realtor®. I was so inspired by the experience that I decided to make a career change and pursue a career in real estate. 🍔 Happy National Hamburger Day! 🍔

Yesterday, on our way through Vantage, WA, we finally stopped at The Ranch by Royal Family Farming after hearing so many good things on social media… and WOW!! it absolutely lived up to the hype. 🤤

Simple concept:
Fresh farm-to-table beef served at a restaurant owned by a rancher. That’s hard to beat.

They’ve got great prices, tons of options, and even a unique setup where you can choose your own cut of beef and have it cooked exactly how you like it at market price. 🔥🥩

I went with the Ranch Double Burger with a fried egg and a chocolate shake… tasty stuff right here! 🍔🥤 Definitely worth the stop.

Safe to say we’ll be making plans to pop back in down the road. If you’re traveling through Vantage, this place is absolutely worth checking out!

Today we pause to honor the brave men and women of our armed forces who made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation. Their courage, dedication, and selfless service have protected the freedoms we hold dear; including the freedom to build homes, raise families, and pursue the American Dream.

As Jesus said in John 15:13:
“Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.”

We are forever grateful to our fallen heroes, their families, and all who have served. Your sacrifice ensures that we can continue to live in a land of opportunity, liberty, and hope.

This Memorial Day, may we remember them not just with words, but by living lives worthy of their sacrifice; cherishing our communities, supporting one another, and being good stewards of the blessings we’ve been given.
