A few of my favorite ways to enjoy fall:

1. Oktoberfest. They're everywhere! We love the Arbor Crest Wine Cellars version. Great people and a beautiful view!

2. Taking a Hike or a stroll around your favorite local parks. Manito Park , Riverfront Park , John A. Finch Arboretum, the list goes on!

3. You cannot omit Green Bluff Growers . Pumpkins, treats, family friendly activities and apple picking is quintessentially fall.

4. Local bakeries and coffee shops. It's their time to shine! And who doesn't love a warm drink on a crisp fall day? Rockwood Bakery , Indaba Coffee Roasters and Evans Brothers Coffee Roasters are a few favorites.

Low inventory means rising home prices (despite high interest rates and constrained buyers!). Like the rest of the nation, Spokane home owners aren't willing to drop below market value to sell right now.

There are, however, opportunities for buyers by way of concessions AND don't forget the minimal competition!

Last thought: while homes are only sitting on the market for an average of 15 days right now, this doesn't include those homes that end up expiring off of the market and never sell. Average/fixer upper homes are struggling to compete in this market where buyers can't afford to look past an old roof or dated appliances.

It's an awkward stage for real estate right now,

Still, a winning strategy can take you to where you want to be!
