Woohoo! This one was listed, sold, and closed in just 22 days... and that includes going through an FHA loan! We received 2 offers and got it sold at the listing price after some negotiating. Thanks to my service partners, including Hue Got It Painting (interior and exterior), RoofMaxx (moss removal, cleaning and treating, and a full "roof tune-up"), and 509 Cleaning for helping us to get this one ready to hit the market. They all helped to get it looking great, which was important because the home was a rental for the last 7 years.

And, huge thanks go out to my fantastic clients - and new friends - Jason and Amanda - for working hard and following my advice, and also to the buyer's agent and their lender, who were both wonderful to work with. Not all transactions go as smoothly as this one did, but after some tough, and very time consuming deals lately, I think karma smiled upon us. 😛

This May closed sale was a little bittersweet. I have done 5 transactions with this client over the last 30+ years. Sometimes, life happens... I sold them this home, brand new, in 2019, just before the market went bonkers, so they did pretty well on it.
After 38 years in the Spokane real estate market, my business is based on repeat clients and referrals, and I am grateful for each and every one.

This was another fantastic May closing, and a home that my buyers absolutely love! Sitting on nearly 4 acres of ground with incredible gardens, fruit trees, berry bushes, 2 chicken houses with a large enclosed area, and completely fenced property. It is a 1999 built two story in the Chattaroy area with a neat floor plan, a second kitchen in the daylight walkout basement, and much more. This was no "cookie cutter" home!

A few recent closings!

I love working with first time home buyers. They can be a lot of work, but they are usually a lot of fun. 🙂

On this purchase, we were choosing between 120 year old homes in "less than average" neighborhoods that needed work and were very energy inefficient, or, thanks to a 3.75% builder special first time buyer mortgage, we were able to find my client a brand new 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom townhome with a 2 car attached garage, a super energy efficient home with triple pane windows that meets the latest strict Washington State energy codes, which was perfect for a young lady just starting out.
