Hey guys with the seasons changing here are some hints to keep your apartments in tip top shape.
Spring news letter.
March 20, 2013
Dear Resident:
As the season changes and springtime approaches, the Riverstone management team would like to help you get ready with some “spring cleaning” tips for your apartment home.
Please call the office as soon as possible if anything in your apartment home is not working properly. We will have our maintenance team take care of any necessary repairs. Do not hesitate to call with problems regarding any of the following:
• Toilets - If they sound like they are constantly running, a fix will help conserve water.
• Water Leaks - Check for moisture around your windows or doors. If your air conditioning or heating system is not operating properly, or if you notice moisture or dampness anywhere in your apartment home, please call.
• Bathroom and Kitchen Ventilation Fans - It is important that these are always in good working order to control humidity and air quality.
• Thermostats - Please adjust the temperature so you have constant climate control and good air flow. Insufficient air flow may result in increased humidity, which may damage your furniture, clothes, and carpets.
• Door Locks - Your lock should be easy to operate. If your key sticks or the lock itself is loose, please let us know.
• Window Screens - Please remember that secured window screens are designed to keep insects out, not children or pets in. Screens are not strong enough to prevent a child from falling out of an open window. Do not let a child push on a window screen and do not place furniture under a window where a child could climb up to the window.
• Smoke Detectors - The semi-annual time changes are great times to test your smoke detectors. If you need new batteries, please let us know. Please do not disable a smoke detector for any reason.
• Open Flame Grills - These are not to be used on balconies or near the building. Please remind anyone you see doing so, or call the fire department if necessary.
We also want our common areas and recreational facilities to be enjoyable for you and we appreciate your call regarding areas you feel need to be addressed. Let us know if anything needs our attention such as the sidewalks, pool, stairways, breezeways or parking areas.
Thank you for making your home at a Riverstone Residential managed community. Please let us know what we can do to make your spring and summer more enjoyable!
Sincerely,
Valérie Plute
