We recognize this is an incredibly difficult time for you. Whether you lost your home or are currently evacuated, please know that we are keeping you and your needs in our thoughts. While no message can ease what you are experiencing, we want you to know that the Flett Riverhawk Community is here to support you in the days and weeks ahead.

Spokane Public Schools and the Innovia Foundation this week launched a digital resource to assist families in need. Visit SpokaneCommunityResources.org to see a list of local organizations offering different kinds of help, including clothing, childcare, cleanup, food assistance, transportation, legal aid and more. These resources are available for anyone impacted by the fires, whether you lost your home or are evacuated.

In addition, Spokane County will open a Disaster Assistance Center (DAC) on Thursday at noon at Shadle Park High School. It will remain open on Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and over the weekend. I strongly encourage you to access the DAC, even if you feel you are managing okay on your own. They have experienced staff to help you navigate your specific situation. Case managers on hand who have been through and helped others through previous disasters.

Our Flett team has begun reaching out to families in the most impacted areas to listen and learn and we will continue to do so in the coming days, so we better understand how to support your student and your family moving forward.

Lastly, our free kids day camps continue through Friday at Shadle Park High School. The Shadle Booster Club has free clothing and personal care items available as well.

In the past, I've had a ton of people ask me about rentals. I do not do rentals. However, with so many people looking for emergency housing due to losing their homes from this horrible fire, I have reached out to past investors, Realtor colleagues, etc and have some resources. Please feel free to contact me if you need help finding a temporary or long term rental and I will do my best to connect you with someone ❤️‍🩹 my thoughts and prayers are with everyone going through this. Also, if you are in need of any resources like food, clothing, etc I can help find resources for you as well.

Our office is accepting donations to help support those affected by the fires. Stop by Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and we'll make sure your donated supplies reach those who need them most.
