The one thing to do before listing your home that most sellers skip entirely — a pre-listing walkthrough with fresh eyes.

Walk through your home the way a buyer would, not as someone who lives there. You’ll catch things you’ve stopped seeing: the scuff on the wall, the squeaky door, the cluttered corner that makes the room feel smaller. Small things, but buyers notice them and they negotiate on them. Before you list, walk through every room and ask yourself “would I pay full price for this?” — if the answer is no, fix it first.
