MY HUSBAND TOLD ME I AM HALF THE MOM HIS EX-WIFE WAS – I TAUGHT HIM A LESSON ABOUT HOW TO BE A PARENT.
I tied the knot with George 8 years ago. He had a little boy, Nick, and a girl, Emma, from his first wife, who passed away in an accident.
Nick and Emma were awesome with me from the start. I loved being their stepmom, and after I found out I was pregnant with our son Mason, I officially adopted them. The kids were amazing with Mason, and George seemed like the perfect dad and husband.
But everything changed when I got pregnant again. George started acting all distant.
Then, one day, we had this huge blowout fight, and he lost it. He shouted that he wished MIRANDA WAS STILL ALIVE AND THAT I HAD DIED INSTEAD.
He told me to stop pretending to be Nick and Emma's REAL MOM and that I was only HALF THE MOM MIRANDA WAS. He even said he never wanted kids with me and only did it to "KEEP ME BUSY."
Those words cut deep. I said I couldn't stay in this marriage after his words. He just laughed and said I had no other choice if I wanted to keep the kids happy. THAT LIT A FIRE IN ME! I UNEXPECTEDLY GOT A HUGE GIFT BOX FOR MY BIRTHDAY — I WAS EXCITED UNTIL I OPENED IT.

Two weeks ago, it was my birthday. The day started beautifully. But then, in the afternoon, there was a knock at the door. A delivery man is there with this massive, wrapped box, so big it barely fit through the doorway.

I was stunned. As I started unwrapping, a small note fell out: "From the wonderful woman who gifted you a husband." My heart sank — it was from my MIL.

Here's the thing: my MIL has never liked me. She always thought I wasn't good enough for her son, constantly reminding me of my modest background. When our baby was born, she didn't even visit and said she didn't approve of me as the mother of her grandchild.

So, when I saw the gift was from her, I was in shock. Was she finally trying to make peace?

HONEYMOONERS TRIED TO MAKE MY FLIGHT HELL AS REVENGE - I TAUGHT THEM A STRICT LESSON.

It was a 14-hour flight, so I paid for a premium economy seat because I wanted to be comfortable.

The person in the next seat asked if I could switch seats with their wife as they had just gotten married and were on their honeymoon.

I congratulated him on his nuptials and asked where his wife was sitting. He pointed toward the back of the plane. In economy.

I declined to switch seats. He asked if there was any way to convince me. I offered to switch if he paid the difference between the seats, $1,000 AU$.

He smirked and refused. I congratulated him once again and put in my earbuds. From then on, he decided to spoil my flight. "Suddenly," he started:

- coughing loudly;
- watching a movie without his headphones;
- dropping crumbly snacks on me;
