Recently, we had the opportunity to be in our state capital for Legislative Days with Washington REALTORS® - meeting directly with the lawmakers who are shaping housing policy in our state.
Advocacy is not optional in this industry. It’s 𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙖𝙡.
Every decision made at the legislative level impacts our clients - buyers trying to afford their first home, sellers navigating market changes, property owners, investors, tenants, and the communities we serve every single day.
To us, being a REALTOR® means more than listing homes and negotiating contracts. It means having a seat at the table. It means showing up. It means helping legislators understand how proposed policies affect real people in real time.
We care deeply about the future of housing in Washington. About affordability. About property rights. About creating opportunity. And about making sure our clients’ voices are represented when decisions are being made.
I’m proud of our office for stepping into those conversations - not just working in the market, but helping shape where it’s headed.
This work matters. And we’re committed to it.
Bonus was getting to hear from Deputy Chief Economist & VP of Research at NAR Dr. Jessica Lautz! She gave us so much great information and data while relating it to our local markets and what’s ahead for consumers in 2026. Special thank you to for asking her to come to Olympia!
