Keri McCombs - RE/MAX Inland Empire Keri loves seeing others find happiness in accomplishing one of life's most important decisions: buying or selling a home.

Born and raised in North Carolina, Keri was taught the importance of making connections with others and the impact of community and family in life's most important decisions. Keri values the connections she makes with others and understands the significance of open and honest communication. As a real estate agent, Keri translates her personal values and upbringing into the relationships she develo

ps with her clients. "The importance of family was instilled in me at a young age. In our family, we supported one another and valued our time together, and our family home was such a large part of those memories. I want others to be able to find a home that they can call their own and be able to make lasting memories with their own families." Prior to starting her real estate career, Keri worked for several years in sales and retail, as well as several years in Social Work and Mental Health. Keri has always enjoyed helping others, especially with helping to carry the burden of stressful situations. Real estate seemed like a natural fit: an area where Keri could help to carry the burden that may come with looking for a new home while finding happiness in buying a new home. Outside of real estate, Keri enjoys time outdoors with her husband, their two dogs, and their family. You can find her in the garden, on a trail, or by the water. When not spending time outdoors, you can find Keri cooking and baking or cheering on her Alma mater, UNC Tarheels. As a member of the Haven Real Estate team, Keri has the real estate world at her fingertips. Haven provides the resources and opportunities for any client to make an education decision on one of life's biggest investments, whether that's purchasing your home at a competitive and accurate price or knowing up-to-date market information and how that effects you as a buyer. Keri is here to help carry the burden and stress that may come with purchasing a new home, selling a home, or moving to the next phase of life. She will walk with you every step of the way as you make one of the most important decisions of your life.

SAVE this for summer! The best farmers markets in the Spokane area with so many opportunities to get the best produce & goodies while supporting local. 👀

We are very lucky to have great farmers markets in every part of the region!

Whether you’re looking for fresh produce, a weekly summer ritual, or just a good excuse to get outside and walk around, you don’t want to miss out!

My advice: make sure you follow .water.farm & check out where they’ll be this summer! He is one of our favorite local farmers (he’s given me lots of good veggie-growing tips), plus he has the best produce & local honey. 🐝

Selling your home doesn’t have to be complicated... but it *does* require the right strategy.

I tell my clients this all the time - the homes that sell successfully (and for the best price) aren’t the ones that “got lucky.” They’re the ones that nailed the fundamentals.

Here are the 3 things that make ALL the difference:

1. **Price it right from the start**
This is the big one. Pricing high to “leave room to negotiate” usually backfires.

The first week your home hits the market is when you get the most eyes on it - and if it’s overpriced, buyers scroll right past. The right price creates demand, and demand creates leverage.

2. **Declutter + stage (yes, it matters)**
Buyers aren’t just buying a house - they’re buying a *feeling*.

Clean, open, and thoughtfully styled spaces help them picture their life there. Less stuff = more space (even if the square footage didn’t change).

3. **Make it easy to show**
If buyers can’t get in... they won’t buy it.

I get it - showings can be inconvenient. But limited availability = missed opportunities. The easier it is to see your home, the more buyers walk through the door... and that’s how you get stronger offers.

Simple? Yes.
Easy to overlook? Also yes.

If you’re thinking about selling and want to make sure you’re setting yourself up for success from day one, I’m always here to help you build a plan that works for your situation.

Send me a message or call/text me - let’s talk strategy.

Mexican 🤝 Indian in Spokane😍⁣

And somehow it’s even better than you’re imagining.⁣

We stopped into Indicana in the Perry District and WOW. The flavors are bold, fresh, and the kind of food you think about the next day.⁣

Even writing this days later, I’m salivating.⁣

I love getting to highlight locally owned spots like this that make Spokane so special. This is the kind of place you take your foodie friend, your date, or your family when you want something different (and seriously delicious).⁣

A few of my favorite things we tried:⁣
🍹Virgin Roselle (they also make a leaded one with Tito’s)⁣
🫓 Buttersquash Soup (the naan is TO DIE FOR)⁣
🥩 Steak & Batatas⁣
🍰 Chai Tres Leches⁣

Have you tried it yet? If not, this is your sign.👀⁣

In Spokane & Coeur d’Alene, we’re heading into a year of 𝗹𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀, 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗯𝘂𝘆𝗲𝗿𝘀. ⁣

The number of home sales are expected to increase, inventory is loosening up, and for the first time in a while, income growth is projected to outpace home price growth.⁣

We also expect about 20-25% of homes will have multiple offers, because of strategic and accurate pricing.⁣

Translation?⁣
More options. Increasing prices. Less gridlock in the market. More opportunities — 𝘪𝘧 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘢 𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘯.⁣

Whether you’re thinking about buying, selling, or just want to understand how these shifts affect your timeline, this is the kind of real estate market where good information makes a real difference.⁣

If you want to talk through what 2026 could look like for you in the Spokane or Coeur d’Alene area, I’m always happy to help you map out next steps in a way that fits your goals. 🏡⁣

What am I missing here?👀⁣

One of the best parts of being a Spokane real estate agent is that I know the ins & outs of our area… the good, the bad, the ugly, the fun, & the weird.⁣

I love selling our city & all that the inland northwest has to offer.⁣

Just like every city, we have our unique qualities that make us weird. Here are a few that I hear all the time (and some that I fall victim to myself.😅)⁣

I know there are others, tell me what I missed!⬇️⁣

01/08/2026

There’s a phrase I hear all the time from buyers, and I want to talk about it with a lot of compassion.⁣

“This is going to be my forever home.”⁣

I understand 𝘸𝘩𝘺 people say it. Buying a home is emotional. It’s expensive. It’s a big commitment. Of course you want to get it “right.”

But here’s the part most people don’t realize: that mindset can quietly work against you.⁣

When we label a home as “forever,” we tend to ask it to be everything all at once.⁣

Every bedroom you 𝘮𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 need someday.⁣
The perfect layout.⁣
The dream yard.⁣
The ideal location.⁣
Move-in ready.⁣
No compromises.⁣
⁣..all while staying within today’s budget.⁣

And for many buyers, especially in our market, that combination just doesn’t exist.⁣

The truth - and I say this gently - is that most homes are 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀, not forever stories. Life changes. Jobs change. Families grow or shrink. Priorities shift. What feels essential at 28 often looks very different at 38 or 48 or 58 or 68 or 78.

That doesn’t mean your purchase isn’t important.⁣
It means it doesn’t have to carry the weight of being 𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘧𝘦𝘤𝘵.⁣

Some of the happiest, most successful homeowners I work with buy a home that:⁣
• works really well for 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 season⁣
• checks the most important boxes⁣
• fits their financial comfort zone⁣
• and has room to grow, adapt, or be outgrown⁣

That flexibility often leads to less stress, fewer missed opportunities, and a lot more confidence when making an offer.⁣

If you’re buying right now and feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or frustrated, it may be worth asking a softer question:⁣

“What does a 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗻𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗲 look like?”⁣

If you’re not sure how to work through that question, I can help you figure out your priorities.⁣

You don’t have to get it all right forever.⁣
You just have to make a smart, thoughtful move for where you are today.⁣

And that’s something I’m always happy to help you navigate. 🤍⁣

Success in real estate doesn’t always look like numbers on a spreadsheet.⁣

Sure, tracking numbers is how you meet goals; you can’t manage what you don’t measure.⁣

But what matters most to me is the success of my clients. And what was success to my clients this year?⁣

Here are some of the ways my clients had success.⁣

In 2025, “winning” often meant clarity, confidence, patience, and peace of mind. It also meant making decisions that worked best for them.

In a market that was uncertain, that had some interesting shifts with some unexpected feelings, plus a whole lot of false information circulating, I am so proud of all those who had success in reaching their real estate goals.⁣

I’m truly honored to be the guide for my clients.⁣

Do you know someone who is buying or selling in 2026? I’d be honored to provide them with 5-star service. Your referrals are the ultimate support of my business and I so appreciate every single one of them!⁣
