The cost of Procrastination is HIGH!!! Stress, anxiety, overwhelm, sleepless nights, worry, anxiety, stress - when deep down you know that you Just need to do it.
There is a fear associated with starting the job - which can, sometimes, be more stressful than the fear than Not starting the job. Make sense? Maybe if you leave the issue alone it will resolve itself. Maybe if you ignore it, the job/issue will go away.
Neither are really true. I know this first hand. If you think that I don't procrastinate well, you are definitely wrong. The things that I ignore are the things that require me to stay at home and be in the office - because I would much rather be out downsizing families, being their problem solver and figuring out their next steps.
Within the last 10 days I have removed at 7 things from my procrastination list and boy does it feel good. Now, I can concentrate on setting deadlines for other things that need to be done. (This is all personal, not business related).
What is one thing that you are procrastinating about? What is holding you back from getting started? How long will it Really take you to finish if you were to start Now? Today...not tomorrow.
Don't put it off any longer. It is a new month and I know that you can do it!
**Well, maybe don't bother working in the garage until the weather gets just a little cooler.
