r. She was taught from a young age that if you want something in life, you have to work for it, and that it was her job to be a good steward of the land. (But that’s not to say she didn’t have fun along the way.) Polly got into the real estate industry 16 years ago when life changed and she decided to resign from her 15 year Agronomy career with the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service and move to the Texas Hill Country. She got bored doing 'nothing' and remembered how much she loved walking land and being outside, so she decided to get her real estate license and sell land! She set out to show clients the neat things about living in the Hill Country, and that every piece of land has its own unique personality with plants, animals, rock formations, and beautiful views. As her career advanced, Polly found her stride working with sellers finding themselves in situations where life has changed or has thrown them a curveball. She's an expert in highlighting and marketing that special 'thing' that made the seller purchase their property in the first place. Throughout her career, Polly has earned numerous accolades, including deciding to become a real estate broker, and sponsoring and teaching other new agents how to be the best agents they can be. Polly lives in Canyon Lake with her husband Allan, their rottweiler Maddy, their cat Impy, their harlequin macaw Rowdy, and their 49 chickens and 2 roosters on 5 acres. In addition to gardening, she enjoys feeding the native birds, hiking the Texas Hill Country and traveling.
