MAY 6th is World MoyaMoya Day. 6 years ago I spent over a month in California at Stanford having bilateral brain bypasses that saved my life. Thank you, Dr. Gary Steinberg. MoyaMoya is an extremely rare, difficult to diagnose disease that definitely deserves recognition and education. It took me over 2 years seeing every possible type of doctor, having every type of testing done, until I was finally diagnosed at the Mayo Clinic.
