1. Know your budget- work with a lender you trust who can explain how things like property taxes and insurance rates can change what you can afford.

2. Be ready to move fast!

3. Trust your real estate profession - they have insight on what works for buyers to help their offer stand out and know what sellers are looking for.

4. Make a strong, but fair offer.
