Welcome Lauren Jackson to the JLA Realty Family!
Lauren Jackson is a proud Kingwood native and graduate of Kingwood High School. She and her husband actually attended the same high school but didn’t meet until a year or so later—once they did, it was forever.
Lauren studied Health Management and began her career in the medical field at Baylor College of Medicine in the Houston Medical Center. After starting her family, she was blessed to spend nearly eight years as a stay-at-home mom, lovingly raising their three children.
With a natural passion for beautiful homes, thoughtful design, entertaining, and creating memorable gatherings, Lauren brings warmth and heart to real estate. Outside of work, she enjoys jazz music as the seasons change (especially fall and winter), country music all summer long, the timeless cozy vibe of Nancy Meyers movies, beach days, summertime, and slow mornings with her family.
Lauren is thrilled to join the JLA Realty team and looks forward to guiding clients and families through one of life’s biggest milestones with care and expertise.

Raquel Monroy has always centered her career on helping families and strengthening her community. For several years, she worked in education as a bilingual teacher and Center Administrator in Houston, where she developed strong leadership, communication, and community service skills.
Today, Raquel is thrilled to embark on a new journey as a realtor. Her deep passion for supporting families naturally led her into real estate, where she is committed to guiding clients through one of life’s most important decisions with honesty, dedication, and genuine care.
Outside of work, Raquel enjoys traveling and exploring new places and cultures. She loves savoring dinners at great restaurants and spending quality time with her family. One of her greatest joys is caring for her daughter, who inspires her every day. A devoted animal lover, she also finds happiness and peace caring for her cat and her baby tortoise.

Welcome AE to the JLA Realty Family!
Born in Reykjavik, Iceland, AE developed a passion for adventure and exploration at a young age. His journey began as a Merchant Marine, traveling across Europe and immersing himself in diverse cultures, people, and traditions. Those formative years at sea instilled in him a strong work ethic, boundless curiosity, and a deep appreciation for the world.
AE later served proudly as a firefighter with the U.S. Navy, where he honed his skills in teamwork, discipline, and leadership. While working in the shipyards, he also mastered the craft of shipbuilding, further expanding his technical expertise and hands-on capabilities.
Throughout his career, AE has lived and worked across Scandinavia, Europe, and Africa in industries including construction, oil, and renewable energy—particularly wind power. These experiences have allowed him to contribute to diverse, high-impact projects while fueling his lifelong love of travel and discovery.
Adventure remains at the heart of AE’s life. He has driven across Europe from the North Cape to Gibraltar and explored extensively throughout the United States, always eager to meet new people and embrace different cultures. As a passionate football (soccer) fan, he is especially excited about the upcoming World Cup.
Outside of work, AE enjoys traveling, discovering exceptional food, and spending quality time with his family. Happily married, he shares his life with his wonderful spouse and their beloved pets—a cat and a baby turtle—who add joy and personality to their home.

Please join Paul and I in giving a big JLA Realty welcome to Meli Mjaltaj 🎉🎉🎉

Born in Kosovo, Meli moved to the United States as a refugee at the age of 15. She settled in Houston, where she learned English and Spanish while keeping her native Albanian close to her heart. She went on to graduate from Baylor University and has spent the last 18 years passionately serving Texas families. 🥰

Meli met her husband, who is also from Albania, right here in Houston. Together, they are raising three beautiful children and can usually be found cheering on the sidelines of soccer fields or at cheer competitions.
For Meli, family is truly everything.

A true people person who loves helping others, Meli also enjoys traveling the world with her family, gardening, spending time in nature, and diving into DIY and interior home design projects.
