Two evenings. Two ways to listen.

This September, Peter Kater returns to Nama-Stay for two gatherings shaped by music, presence, and the quiet of the canyon.

SPIRITUS MUSICA · September 8
A live, immersive journey through breath and sound with Peter Kater and Wakefield. Created as an embodied experience rather than a traditional concert, the evening invites us into deeper listening, connection, and presence through music, breath, and stillness.

AN EVENING OF MUSIC · September 14
As the retreat week draws to a close, we open the Pavilion to the wider community for an intimate evening of Peter’s evocative live piano music. Gather, settle in, and experience an evening shaped by sound and the quiet presence of Zion. Admission is free, with donations welcomed and advance registration required.

Two very different evenings, each offering its own invitation to pause and listen.

September 8 · Spiritus Musica · 7 PM
September 14 · An Evening of Music · 6–7:30 PM

What changes when you allow yourself to be heard?

This Friday, we gather at Nama-Stay for Mantra & Voice Empowerment — an experiential evening exploring the relationship between breath, sound, presence, and authentic expression.

Through mantra, meditation, breathwork, kriya, and chanting, Jennifer Goodman will guide us inward before inviting the voice outward — creating space to listen more deeply, soften what holds us back, and experience our own expression with greater clarity and ease.

You do not need to consider yourself a singer. You do not need previous experience.

Simply come with a willingness to breathe, listen, and be heard.

An evening to return to the breath.

This Saturday, we gather again at Nama-Stay for a Breathwork Immersion, guided by Deana Zabaldo.

Through active, guided breathwork and music, we’re invited to step away from the movement of the thinking mind and listen more closely to the wisdom of the body — creating space for release, clarity, connection, and a deeper sense of aliveness.

Whether breathwork is familiar to you or this will be your first experience, you are warmly invited to join us.

Today, the canyon answered.

Rain moved through the trees. Thunder gathered beyond the cliffs. For a moment, the landscape became its own soundscape.

This is what inspired our Monsoon Season series: an invitation to listen not only to the bowls, but to the season unfolding around us.

Our final gathering is this Friday, July 31, from 6 PM to 7:30 PM. Tea will be shared as part of the evening, alongside sound, stillness, and whatever the canyon may bring.

Join us for one last Monsoon Season Soundscape.

Reserve through the link in our bio.

The evening begins before the first bowl is played.

With tea shared in quiet presence, we are invited to arrive more fully—to the body, to one another, and to the changing rhythm of the canyon.

For our final two Monsoon Season Soundscapes, tea will be woven into an intimate evening of crystal bowls, stillness, and seasonal wonder guided by Atonka.

Wind may move through the trees. Clouds may gather along the cliffs. Rain or distant thunder may join us—or the canyon may remain quiet beyond the Pavilion. Each evening will unfold in its own way.

Before the first bowl is played, the listening has already begun.

Wind through the trees. Clouds gathering over the canyon. The landscape shifting outside the Pavilion as the crystal bowls wait within.

Tomorrow, our Monsoon Season Soundscapes begin. Three intimate evenings shaped by sound, stillness, and whatever the season may bring. When rain, wind, or distant thunder move through, the bowls may meet them. When the sky remains quiet, the canyon is still present—just beyond the glass.

When summer gathers over Zion, the canyon begins to speak in another rhythm.

Wind through the trees. Clouds along the cliffs. Rain, perhaps. Distant thunder, if the season offers it.

This July, Atonka guides Monsoon Season Soundscape — an intimate evening of sound bowls, stillness, and seasonal wonder at Nama-Stay.

These gatherings invite you to rest within the resonant tones of sound and the living presence of the canyon. No experience is needed. Simply come as you are.

Inside outside & in between

When you follows the streams you have faith in the course . Just like the river follows its streams to the ocean . The calling of your purpose opens the rivers to your path.

Nothing ever comes to fruition just by thinking and dreaming - The action gifts you structure, direction, soulful nourishment contentment, flow and a sense of fulfillment.

I encourage you to have fate in the light of your streams and never let them go out of your sight.- it’s the only way you bring something to form.- Atonka

A quiet summer reflection , awaiting a precious monsoon sound season to arrive.

There is a voice within each woman that knows before it is heard.

Gathering Great Valley Yin is a women-only circle rooted in reflection, nourishment, and shared presence. After nearly seven years of gathering with Atonka, the circle continues in a new season with guest teachers helping carry the space forward.

This month, Andreina Jaimes guides Self-Expression: Hearing Your Own Voice First — an evening to listen inward, strengthen self-worth, and speak with honesty, presence, and alignment.
