And it'll help get you even closer to your savings goals and, in turn, closer to buying that home you're dreaming of.

🚨Cancel the subscription services you aren't using & TBH the 'nice to have' ones too!

You might even be paying for ones you've forgotten you have 😅

This usually looks like multiple streaming services, music apps, fitness or wellness memberships that were stopped, food delivery subscriptions, cloud storage plans, premium app upgrades, or monthly services that renew without much thought.

For example, it’s not unusual to have -

📺 streaming, TV, and music subscriptions totaling $70–$100 a month,

🍔 food delivery, grocery delivery, and shopping memberships around $50–$80 a month,

🤳 cloud storage, photo backups, productivity tools, and premium app features, adding another $30–$60 a month,

🙈 and miscellaneous subscriptions like gaming passes, news or magazine access, specialty boxes, or recurring services running $25–$50 a month.

That can easily turn into $175–$290 every month

Over a year, that’s roughly $2,100–$3,500 back in your pocket just by cutting back on things you don’t really use.

When you add up monthly rent, that number can be eye-opening. And unlike a mortgage, rent is an expense you don’t get back.

Homeownership isn’t just about having a place to live. It’s about putting those monthly payments toward something you own and build over time.

Think about this. 👉 If your rent is $1,800, that's over $21,000 you'd spend in a year. Over $100K if you rent for 5 years.

In that time, you could have been paying down your mortgage and growing equity in a home that you own and could resell for a potential profit.

📆 Assign laundry to specific days.
Towels on Tuesdays, clothes on Wednesdays and Fridays, linens on the weekend, or even one small load a day. Less decision-making = less pileup.
